My mother-in-law sent me this one from Cocoa Beach, Fla. That’s a statue of Kelly Slater. Parts of my novel’s backstory take place in Cocoa Beach. And one of my book’s characters is a semi-pro surfer. Combined, that makes this photo a pretty sweet shot. Thanks Celine!
